On Earth, the Sun rises and sets every day, but on Venus, the Sun rises every 117 Earth days.
Even though the Sun only rises twice yearly on Venus, it’s still the same day on Venus.
Because of Venus’s backward spin, the Sun rises in the west and sets in the east.
